Biography

In 1999 Mark received his Master of Science degree from the faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands. He graduated in de Control Engineering group on the subject of Lyapunov stability analyses. After graduation he worked as a lead engineer in the field of industrial engineering at a multinational engineering company.

Mark started as a patent attorney trainee with Arnold + Siedsma in 2006. There he started specialising in the patentability of software. He acquired his qualifications as Dutch, Belgian, and European patent attorney

In 2011 Mark moved from private practice to industry and now works as a patent attorney at the Corporate Patents department of Océ Technologies in Venlo, The Netherlands.
